In July the next meeting of the heads of Big Eight governments will take place

In June the next meeting of the heads of Big Eight governments, which become traditional already.

Some political circles of West consider it to be incorrect to name this meeting as Big Eight (G8) Summit and offer to use formula G7+1 (Big Eight plus Russia).

Let’s don’t discuss the political-geography nuances of the forthcoming event, which, besides, in the official documents of the participants marks as G7/G8, and let’s look at it from some different side.

We didn’t pay much attention to this event, if it weren’t to subjects:
For the first, the Russia will be the chairman of this St. Petersburg’s meeting, that affords to choose the main topics for discussions.

Between them will be the problem of the energetic safety, as hade been said by our President V.V. Pytin.

Not touching the nuances of energetic policy and macroeconomics, one says in brief, the main idea is that our economy can’t raise and develop, basing on one business, named as “Pipe”.

Therefore it’s very important to develop some other branches, first of all, small and middle business. Such direction in the developing of our economy no doubt is cheerful for all of us.

And the second reason adds some gladness and symbolism to our feelings.
